Job summary

Finago Group in Espoo, Finland, is hiring an AI Capability & Platform Owner to lead the AI ecosystem across the organization. This permanent full-time role is based in Espoo, Keilaniemi with flexible hybrid work.

You will own the technology, operating model, adoption, and business outcomes of our AI capabilities. You will manage licensing, cost optimization, and governance while collaborating with stakeholders in IT, security, compliance, and finance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms, LLMs, AI assistants, agents, integrations, and enterprise data environments.
• Understand how AI interacts with business processes, data governance, and user adoption.
• Owns a platform end-to-end including service quality, business value, roadmap, cost management, access models, and risk.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SaaS administration, IAM, enterprise integrations, and data permissions.
• Strong information security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, and data protection.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commercial awareness with vendors, licensing, contracts, and cost optimization.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring AI tools deliver measurable business value and tangible outcomes, not just adoption statistics.
• Evaluating and implementing AI platforms, connectors, integrations, and data access solutions.
• Managing AI licensing, contracts, vendor relationships, cost tracking, renewals, and value optimization.
• Defining and governing access models, data handling practices, and AI tool usage with stakeholders.
• Building and configuring integrations, validating access rights, testing functionality, and resolving platform issues.
• Defining success metrics and measuring AI impact through business outcomes such as time savings, efficiency gains, quality improvements, and faster delivery.
• Driving AI initiatives from idea to production by removing blockers across technical, commercial, compliance, and organizational areas.
• Acting as Finago's AI ambassador by communicating about AI opportunities, limitations, risks, and best practices.

At Finago, we're setting a new standard for financial and human resources software across the Nordics. As AI rapidly transforms the way we work, we're looking for an AI Capability & Platform Owner to lead the development, management, and business impact of our AI ecosystem.

As our AI Capability & Platform Owner, you will own Finago's AI platform landscape and ensure that AI tools create measurable business value across the organization. This is not a coordination role. It is a hands-on ownership role where you will be responsible for the technology, commercial management, operating model, adoption, and business outcomes of our AI capabilities.

You will own and develop AI platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, OpenAI-based services, Copilot Studio, MCP and connector capabilities, as well as future approved AI technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT, security, compliance, procurement, finance, and external partners to ensure AI solutions are practical, secure, scalable, and impactful.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Owning the capability, platform strategy, and operating quality of Finago's AI ecosystem.

This is a permanent full-time position located in Espoo, Keilaniemi with flexible hybrid working opportunities. In this role, you will report to Jari Litukka, Director, Employee IT. This is an unique opportunity to take ownership of AI capabilities at a Nordic technology company where AI is considered a strategic business enabler. We're looking for an experienced AI and platform professional who combines technical understanding with business thinking and a passion for making AI useful in practice.

• You have strong hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms, large language models, AI assistants, agents, integrations, and enterprise data environments.
• You understand how AI technologies interact with business processes, data, governance, and end-user adoption.
• You are naturally curious about emerging AI technologies and continuously seek the best tool for each business need.
• You have experience owning a platform end-to-end, including service quality, business value, technology roadmap, cost management, access models, and risk management.
• You understand Microsoft 365, SaaS administration, identity and access management, enterprise integrations, and data permissions.
• You have a solid understanding of information security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, and data protection.
• You are an excellent communicator who can explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You have commercial awareness and experience working with vendors, licensing models, contracts, and cost optimization.
• You are able to create clear and engaging guidance, communications, and decision materials for a broad audience
• You are fluent in English.
