Job summary

Nordea in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the High Risk Change and Development team. You will own end-to-end integration projects from requirement through design, development, testing and release readiness, delivering robust solutions for debt management and related processes.

You will collaborate with global counterparts, apply Java 21+ and Python expertise, work with SQL, Docker and Kubernetes, and contribute to a modern, BizDevOps environment that values quality,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, information technology, data engineering or relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of enterprise-level Java 21+ and/or Python programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and API services.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership from requirement to design, development, testing and release readiness.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and build efficient integration solutions.
• Design and build robust integration patterns into and from vendor solutions.
