Job summary

AlphaSense in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Engineer to own identity, access, and user management platforms at scale. You will design, implement, and operate authentication, authorization, and provisioning capabilities while collaborating with security to ensure SOC2 and GDPR compliance.

You will work with a distributed team, embracing self-service APIs and modern cloud tooling to support thousands of customers and product teams across the company.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with identity platforms.
• Experience designing and operating authentication, authorization or user management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve our authorization platform (RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC).
• Design, build, and evolve our authentication platform, including Auth0 integration.
• Design, build, and evolve our user management platform for provisioning and entitlements.
• Partner with security to ensure SOC2 and GDPR compliance by design.
• Build scalable systems for growing users and customers.
• Contribute to roadmap across authentication, authorization, and user management.
