Job summary

Join Eaton's Vantaa-based team working on real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) platforms for critical power systems. You will develop scalable models and integrate with our automated testing platform, ensuring models evolve with vendor software updates.

The role focuses on power electronics, CAN/Ethernet communications, and embedded control, requiring hands-on HIL experience and collaboration with firmware, hardware, and systems engineers in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Controls Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with HIL systems and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain real-time simulation models using OPAL-RT platform.
• Model electrical system components for UPS, battery, power conversion, and grid-interaction.
• Design and maintain HIL setups, test benches, and drawers.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and test engineering teams.
• Ensure reliability and performance of HIL platforms.
