Job summary

Eaton's new campus in Vantaa, Finland, is expanding its Critical Power Solutions team to advance energy-efficient solutions. The role focuses on defining and owning test strategies for embedded firmware and system validation of UPS and critical power systems, with leadership across manual and automated testing and HiL/MiL/SiL validation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in embedded firmware testing and system verification
• Experience leading test or validation teams
• Experience working in high power lab environments

Responsibilities

• Define and own test strategies for embedded firmware and system validation
• Develop test plans, specifications, and verification matrices
• Provide direction across manual testing, automated testing and HiL/MiL/SiL validation
• Drive risk-based testing and validate safety-related behaviors
• Lead test automation with Python and Robot Framework; integrate into CI/CD
• Review results and guide root-cause analysis
• Ensure HiL/MiL/SiL readiness across environments
• Maintain safety in high power lab environments
