Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to lead dynamic simulations and grid code compliance studies in Finland. You will own model development, validation, and delivery for complex projects in collaboration with distributed PSS engineers.

The role requires strong English communication, Finnish/Swedish language proficiency, and a track record of 5+ years in power system studies with expertise in PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory and ETAP.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems specialization preferred).
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Finnish or Swedish is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead dynamic/transient simulations using PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSS/E for grid-connection studies.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Grid code compliance studies including model build and validation.
