GE Vernova Grid Solutions in Tampere, Finland, seeks a Control Engineer to join the FACTS Control Software team. You will report to the Engineering Manager and contribute to life-cycle activities from design to testing in high-power grid applications.

The role requires an MSc in Power System Engineering or equivalent, strong knowledge of control theory for grid-connected devices, and experience with PSCAD/MATLAB/RTDS/PSSE. Fluency in English is essential; international collaboration is expected.

Formación

• MSc or higher in Power System Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent written and oral English; other languages are a benefit.
• Strong prioritizing and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce high quality study documents and specifications.
• Plan, specify and participate testing.
• Execute control and protection testing and system energizing.
• Participate in technical negotiations with end customers and other stakeholders.
• Support equipment sourcing (technical inputs, equipment evaluation).
• Support technical tendering.
• Research and development in the field of FACTS control system design.
