Job summary

Wolt is seeking a senior backend engineer to build and maintain high-throughput services in Go. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to ship features used by internal support agents worldwide.

You will design scalable, resilient systems, lead architectural discussions, and ensure well-tested code and high standards. 7+ years of experience and Go production work are expected; cloud familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of production experience in Go.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Cassandra.
• Solid understanding of designing and operating low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
