Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to lead critical firmware components and integrate secure, sub-GHz device interfaces with cloud-based services. You will shape product architecture, cybersecurity, and production readiness for devices deployed globally.

Relocation support is provided to join our R&D/Engineering team in Gdańsk, Poland. The role requires strong embedded C skills, a security mindset, and experience with RTOS and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded C experience.
• Cybersecurity background ideal.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of RTOS and bare-metal development.
• Experience debugging embedded systems.
• Fluent English literacy and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions for firmware components and influence hardware design, protocols, and cybersecurity across product lines.
• Define Everon product family integration logic for EN50131 Grade3 devices.
• Ensure solution quality with QA team and perform debugging and bug fixes.
• Support verification, validation, certification, and production processes with technical expertise.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams during development and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specs, and internal guidelines.
