Job summary

Safegrid – A G&W Electric Company is seeking a Senior Firmware & Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen RTOS-based systems, embedded Linux, and future product development. You will own critical embedded platforms and drive product roadmap execution, collaborating with electronics, systems, cloud, and test engineering teams.

The role combines hands-on development with architecture ownership and cross-functional leadership in a high-reliability grid infrastructure context.

Qualifications

Substantial hands-on firmware and embedded software experience for RTOS and Embedded Linux.
Strong skills in low-level hardware interfaces and HW/SW interaction.
Experience owning complex embedded systems or products.
Bachelor's or Master's in EE/CE/CS or equivalent with senior-level background.

Responsibilities

Design and develop firmware for RTOS-based microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
Debug and resolve hardware/software interactions during development, manufacturing, and field ops.
Execute the product roadmap and lead technical development of new products.
Drive embedded software architecture, technical specifications, and engineering practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage risks and ensure delivery of high-reliability products.
