Job summary

SEB, a leading banking group, seeks a Senior Financial Controller to own accounting and reporting for trading products within Group Finance. You will drive end-to-end processes, collaborate across SEB, and push continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

You will work with senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial statements and robust controls. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent.
• Several years of accounting and financial reporting in a banking or regulated financial environment.
• Solid experience with trading products and financial instruments accounting.
• Proven ability to drive change and development initiatives from requirements to implementation.
• Experience working in cross-functional and international settings.
• Fluency in English (Swedish an advantage, but not required).

Responsibilities

• Global accountability for accounting and reporting processes related to trading products.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual closing of SEB AB, including analysis of financial statements.
• Independently pursuing ad hoc accounting and reporting issues.
• Driving the change and development agenda in collaboration with stakeholders across SEB.
