Job summary
TSMG is seeking a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair electric and autonomous fleets, ensuring high uptime for robotaxi operations across Europe. You will diagnose complex vehicle issues, perform software updates, and support autonomous driving hardware while adhering to safety standards.
Ideal candidates have hands-on EV/automotive experience, HV safety certification, and strong collaboration skills with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience as automotive/EV technician.
- Strong experience with diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
- Good understanding of electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and service software.
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles for robotaxi fleet operations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues; ensure fleet readiness.
- Work with high-voltage safety procedures during diagnostics and repairs.
- Support installation, inspection, and replacement of autonomous driving hardware components.
- Perform software updates and validation checks; document repairs accurately.
- Lead shifts when required; mentor junior technicians and coordinate with depot teams.
- Improve maintenance processes to reduce downtime and improve fleet reliability.
