Job summary

Normet is seeking a Senior Engineer, Offering & Product Structures to lead the creation and maintenance of machine BOMs and product structures based on customer orders. You will drive B-feature development in collaboration with global engineering teams, production and subcontractors.

The role is located in Iisalmi, Finland, and requires experience in BOM/configuration, strong data handling, and fluent English/Finnish.

Qualifications

Relevant working experience in engineering, BOM or product structure roles in the machine industry.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/BSc/MSc) or an equivalent field.
Experience with configurator tools and intermediate–advanced Excel skills.
Strong cooperation skills and the ability to manage large data sets with modular product structures.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain machine BOM structures based on customer orders and update MAXBOM and Forecast BOM per Sovelia/configuration system.
Coordinate design tasks for customer-specified B-feature development with engineering/subcontractors.
Compile and commission customer application projects and product structures within the agreed schedule.
Monitor component selections and performance goals for B products with chief engineers of product development.
Provide technical support to the production team and follow Normet messages for corrective actions.
Assist with project scheduling, resourcing and reporting, including BOM creation in ramp-up with Chief Engineers.
