Supercell in Helsinki is searching for an experienced engine programmer to enhance the core runtime of their in-house game engine. This role requires proficiency in C++ and collaboration with diverse technical teams, ensuring improvements across game projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience with proprietary game engines, knowledge of mobile performance, and a proactive mindset. This position is pivotal for the ongoing evolution of Supercell’s game technology.
We are looking for an experienced engine programmer to join one of our internal engine teams, which is responsible for the core runtime and platform layer of Supercell’s in-house game engine. The engine teams are independent teams that maintain our internal tech stack and work seamlessly with our game teams to revolutionize the way we develop games at Supercell.
You will be focused primarily on our multi-platform C++ game engine. You will be expected to iterate and integrate improvements to the engine and its subsystems while working alongside coders, designers and artists from game teams, as well as other core technical teams.
We’re looking for someone like you, who ideally has years of experience, and knowledge acquired from the gaming industry. Whether you have broad experience in proprietary game engines or are a specialist in one area – we want to hear from you. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a proactive programmer who works directly with game teams to deliver world-class mobile games.
