Gofore is seeking a Senior Secure OT Software Engineer to build secure software for OT and embedded environments on long-term projects across public and private sectors. You will work hands-on and guide teams to adopt secure SD practices.

The role emphasizes embedded Linux/C/C++, OT protocols like Modbus and OPC UA, and device security, with opportunities to grow into security architecture and leadership while collaborating with stakeholders.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Solid experience in secure software development and its practical rollout into development teams.
• Embedded software development experience, especially with C / C++.
• Experience with OT and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, CAN).
• Experience with device and firmware security (secure boot, secure update mechanisms, firmware integrity).
• OT environment security requirements: availability, safety, long lifecycles.

• Design and contribute to security-critical OT software as part of an agile team.
• Hands-on work while guiding others and embedding security thinking into development.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA, Security Experts, stakeholders and Product Owners.
