Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Development Manager to join the Delivery Centre, Sustainable Technology Hub. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland, and no other locations can be considered. This permanent position is an on-site job.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Development Manager, your work will include analysis of operations data with stakeholders to identify, lead/co-lead, or support continuous improvement initiatives with the target of improving end-to-end delivery processes. You’ll be working as a part of the Delivery Management and Delivery Centre – Sustainable Technology Hub team with diverse expertise.

Requirements for the position
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and risk management
  • Monitor the manufacturing delivery value chain to detect potential disturbances and disruptions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives with a vast stakeholder group
  • Guide, train, and support the organisation with the wider adoption of Six Sigma and PFMEA
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve operations and prevent future disturbances with relevant stakeholders
To be able to succeed in the position
  • MSc in Manufacturing or a similar relevant field
  • Strong track record in manufacturing operations and ways of working
  • Know-how of Lean, continuous improvement, and quality tools, with an emphasis on Six Sigma and PFMEA
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of resolving critical delivery supply chain disruptions
