Job summary

CoreGo Oy is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build our new software platform. You’ll work in an agile team, contribute hands-on and provide technical guidance and mentoring.

You’ll influence architecture and technology choices from the ground up, translating business needs into technical specs and acting as deputy Scrum Master when needed. Remote work is possible with Helsinki office visits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience as Senior Developer, Lead Developer or similar.
• Strong hands-on with .NET and C#.
• Understanding of software architecture, APIs and databases.
• Ability to guide teammates and translate requirements into designs.
• Good communication in Finnish and English and agile teamwork.

Job Description

As a Senior SoftwareDeveloper, you will play a key role in designing and building our new softwareplatform from the ground up. You will work as part of an agile developmentteam, contributing hands-on to software development while also supporting the teamthrough technical guidance, mentoring and solution design.

You will have theopportunity to influence the platform's architecture, technology choices anddevelopment practices from an early stage. In addition to development work, youwill help translate business needs into technical specifications and act as a deputyScrum Master when needed.

This role is wellsuited for an experienced developer who enjoys combining hands-on developmentwith technical leadership and teamwork.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate closelywith other developers, product owners and relevant stakeholders throughout thedevelopment lifecycle
• Design, develop andmaintain high-quality software solutions for our product portfolio
• Participate indefining the architecture, technical solutions and development practices
• Create and refinetechnical specifications together with product, business and developmentstakeholders
• Provide technicalguidance and mentoring to junior and other team members
• Participate activelyin code reviews and promote good software engineering practices
• Support the team insolving complex technical challenges and making architectural decisions
• Act as a deputy ScrumMaster when required and help facilitate effective agile ways of working

Practical Information

This is a permanent,full-timeposition.

We are looking for aperson based in Finland who can work remotely, whilealsobeingavailabletovisitourHelsinkiofficeonanoccasionalbasis.

The salary range for this position is €4,500-5,500 per month.

Requirements

• 4+ years ofprofessional software development experience
• Previous experienceworking in a Senior Developer, Lead Developer or similar role
• Strong professionalexperience with .NET and C#
• Solid understandingof software architecture, APIs, databases and modern software developmentpractices
• Experience working aspart of a software development team and the ability to guide and support otherdevelopers
• Ability to translaterequirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans
• Good understanding ofsoftware quality practices, code reviews and maintainable code
• Experience with Agilesoftware development methods
• Good communicationand collaboration skills in Finnish and English
