Job summary

Vaisala Xweather RoadAI is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to own model training, evaluation, and deployment for its geospatial vision stack. You will develop computer vision models and design scalable data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust weather-predictive capabilities.

You will work with modern tooling, enjoy a flexible hybrid setup, and contribute to impactful products that help customers manage weather-sensitive operations globally.

Qualifications

• Deep learning for computer vision including segmentation, detection, and classification.
• Experience with CNNs, model evaluation, metrics, and threshold tuning.
• Production ML pipelines and MLOps engineering.
• Strong Python skills with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Fluency in English.
• Cloud computing knowledge (AWS) and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Own model training, evaluation, and deployment for RoadAI's detection and classification stack.
• Develop and implement ML models for computer vision tasks.
• Design and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing and model training.
• Collaborate with CV instructors, development team, product leads, sales, and marketing.
