Job summary

Orion is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of our cloud-native stack. You will architect end-to-end systems in AWS, champion serverless patterns, and drive engineering standards across teams.

The role offers hybrid work with three days on-site at designated offices, with autonomy to shape platform investments and ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned to business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS cloud and serverless patterns.
• Strong knowledge of C#/.NET.
• Experience with distributed data pipelines.
• Security protocols knowledge.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement large-scale, fully serverless applications using AWS services.
• Define architectural vision for cloud-native, event-driven systems.
• Lead design for platforms, subsystems, and cross-cutting capabilities.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and tech leads.
• Lead design reviews and operational excellence initiatives.
• Drive adoption of new AWS services and modern patterns.
