Job summary

Evondos Group is seeking a Senior Business Controller to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. You will partner with the Executive Team and country leaders to turn insights into strategic actions, while shaping the future of finance through automation and AI initiatives.

The role emphasizes proactive business partnering, strategic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across Nordics, the UK, and the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business controlling, FP&A, or a commercially focused finance role.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to work with senior leaders.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and monthly performance reviews.
• Proven track record in driving change and improving processes in finance.
• Interest in AI and technology to create value for the business.

This is the role

As our Senior Business Controller, you will play a key role in helping Evondos make better business decisions through financial insight, strong business partnering, and forward-looking analysis. Working closely with the Executive Team, business leaders, and colleagues across functions and countries, you will be at the heart of financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decision-making.

This is not a role focused on reporting numbers after the fact. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with people, understands how businesses operate, and can turn financial information into actions and decisions. You will help shape the future of financial planning and performance management at Evondos, while driving new ways of working through automation and AI.

What You Will Spend Your Time On

• Partnering with the Executive Team and business leaders across functions and countries, helping them make better decisions through financial insight and analysis.
• Leading forecasting, budgeting, and monthly performance review processes, turning numbers into meaningful business discussions, actions, and decisions.
• Building financial models and analyses that support strategic initiatives, business development, and performance improvement.
• Driving the continuous development of financial planning, reporting, and decision-support processes.
• Exploring opportunities to use AI and automation to improve how finance supports the business.

This could be you

• You bring solid experience from business controlling, FP&A, or another commercially focused finance role, typically 5+ years and preferably more.
• You are not only strong with numbers but also genuinely enjoy working with people. You build trusted relationships and are comfortable working with senior leaders.
• You understand how businesses operate and have experience supporting management through forecasting, budgeting, and regular business performance reviews.
• You know what good financial planning, performance management, and business partnering look like in practice, and are excited about helping Evondos take these capabilities to the next level.
• You have successfully driven change, improved processes, or introduced new ways of working in a finance or business environment.
• You are curious about AI and technology and see opportunities where they can create value for the business.
• You communicate fluently in English. Finnish language skills are a strong advantage.
