Job summary

Tieto Caretech is seeking a Senior SW developer to shape backend and data platform services as part of a data-driven healthcare initiative. You will build production-grade microservices on Kubernetes, design data pipelines in Databricks, and contribute across disciplines in a modern Azure-based stack.

We value strong Java/JVM foundations, Spring Boot, SQL proficiency, and familiarity with Spark. A growth-oriented, collaborative culture with a flexible hybrid work model is offered to support

Qualifications

• Strong foundation on Java and JVM-based development.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API design.
• Hands-on with SQL and relational data modelling.
• Exposure to Scala and Python in data context.
• Familiarity with distributed processing concepts (especially Apache Spark).
• Passion to continuously learn new things, aim higher, build great products and solve complex customer problems.
• Confidence to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design backend and micro services for the Lifecare Data Platform in Azure.
• Build production services running on Kubernetes and design data pipelines in Databricks.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of developers and other experts to deliver high-quality solutions.
