Job summary

Tieto Caretech is seeking a Senior SW developer to design and build backend services and microservices for our Lifecare Data Platform in Azure. You will work on production-grade services on Kubernetes, and design data pipelines in Databricks within sprints.

A solid core in a few areas with curiosity about others is valued. You will join a diverse team of top-level developers and data experts, with opportunities to learn and grow, including a global Keep Learning Week program and flexible hybrid

Qualifications

Strong Java and JVM-based development experience.
Experience with Spring Boot and REST API design.
Hands-on SQL and relational data modelling.
Exposure to Scala and Python in data context.
Familiarity with distributed processing concepts (Apache Spark).
Passion to continuously learn and take responsibility as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Develop and design backend and microservices for Lifecare Data Platform in Azure.
Build production services running on Kubernetes and design data pipelines in Databricks.
Collaborate within a diverse team of developers and data experts.
Contribute to ongoing learning and adoption of new technologies.
