Job summary

Orex Nova, Inc. in Helsinki leads design and ship production LLM systems for Nordic enterprise customers. You will own agent pipelines end-to-end — retrieval, evaluation, tool-use and observability.

We are looking for engineers with 5+ years in production software and 2+ years with LLMs, strong Python and TypeScript, and hands-on experience with OpenAI/Anthropic tooling. The role offers a learning budget and meaningful equity in a cooperative setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software engineering.
• 2+ years working directly with LLMs.
• Strong Python and TypeScript; experience with FastAPI, Node and React.
• Hands-on with OpenAI, Anthropic or open-weights.

Responsibilities

• Architect retrieval-augmented and agentic systems for clients.
• Build evaluation harnesses that gate model upgrades in CI.
• Partner with platform engineers on latency, cost and safety budgets.
• Mentor two to three engineers and set the technical bar.
