Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Sr. Customer Advocate, AECO to identify systemic customer problems, shape the case for action, and influence decisions that improve outcomes at scale.

The role blends advocacy, product intelligence, and data-driven decision making across AECO, with a focus on Construction and a broad portfolio. You will lead structured listening, validate issues with customers and internal teams, and drive cross-functional actions that reduce pain and improve productivity and readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in customer, technology, product, program, or business environments.
• Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence and develop an informed POV with incomplete data.
• Track record of influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual storytelling skills for technical and customer audiences.
• Ability to prioritize high-impact issues amid competing demands.
• Comfort working with data, analytics, and AI-assisted tools to investigate signals.
• Ability to rapidly build product and technical context across a broad portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a structured listening approach across key AECO customer signals to identify, validate, and prioritize systemic pain.
• Develop understanding of AECO workflows with initial emphasis on Construction, and investigate issues across a broad portfolio.
• Engage customers and internal partners to validate issues and deepen understanding using structured and informal listening.
• Synthesize evidence into a clear case for action, including problem, scale, impact, and next steps.
• Connect patterns across systemic issues, products, and workflows to shape priorities.
• Drive cross-functional change by aligning stakeholders, ownership, and decision paths.
• Influence Product, Engineering, and senior partners with an evidence-based POV.
• Turn decisions into scalable actions with readiness teams for guidance and improvements.
• Follow prioritized issues to closure and measure impact on pain reduction and productivity.
