Job summary

Hotel Hetan Majatalo in Lapland is seeking a friendly receptionist for the winter season, from late November until early April. You will greet guests, check them in and out, assist with drinks and snacks, and share local travel tips.

Fluent Finnish and English are required; Swedish/Norwegian is a plus. No prior experience is necessary—positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued. Seasonal role with MaRa TES wages and authentic Lapland hospitality.

Qualifications

• Valid Hygiene Passport and Alcohol Serving Passport.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
• Swedish, Norwegian or other languages are an advantage.
• Experience using Hotellinx is an advantage.
• Confidently communicate with both domestic and international guests.
• Excellent social skills: outgoing, positive and approachable.
• Genuine interest in winter tourism in Lapland with ability to recommend activities.
• Good physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out.
• Provide reception customer service, including selling drinks and small snacks.
• Provide local travel information and recommend routes and activities.
• Keep the lounge area welcoming, tidy and comfortable.
• Assist with breakfast, meal service or small beverage service when needed.
