Job summary

Pihtiputaan kunta is seeking a project manager for the Tule Tule project to lead the overall program, coordinating work packages and activating local entrepreneurs, associations, property owners, residents and municipal actors in Pihtipudas and Kinnula.

The role focuses on launching workshops, carrying out pilots, mapping spaces, promoting new uses, and embedding durable operating models into municipal vitality work. The position is a full-time fixed-term contract from 1.10.2026 to 30.9.2028.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent training in related field and/or project development tasks.
• Ability to inspire diverse people to participate and drive practical pilots.
• Willingness to turn ideas into practical experiments and to collaborate across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work packages and practical implementation across Pihtipudas and Kinnula.
• Activate local entrepreneurs, associations, property owners, residents and other actors; plan and launch workshops and pilots.
• Map vacant spaces, promote new uses, and coordinate pop-up activities to boost vitality.
• Communicate, monitor, report, and manage financial coordination; embed operating models into municipal vitality work.
