Job summary

Coolbrook is seeking a Rotor Dynamics Specialist to own rotor dynamic analysis for RDH and RDR products, collaborating across multi­disciplinary teams from design to fleet support. You will oversee bearing, seal, and vibration specifications and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders globally.

The role requires advanced rotor dynamics knowledge, hands-on use of specialist software, and experience in test validation, dynamic modelling, and system integration.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong rotor dynamics theory knowledge including Jeffcott rotors and multi‑shaft trains.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotor dynamic analyses for rotor, bearing, support and drivetrain.
• Define balancing concepts, tolerances and field trim procedures.
• Specify vibration instrumentation and set alarm/trip limits per standards.
