Job summary

Roleho Partners in Helsinki is seeking two Investment Professional Interns to join our Helsinki team in Spring or Autumn 2027. You will work directly with the partners across the investment cycle, gaining responsibility from the first weeks.

You will be involved in sourcing, analysis, execution, and portfolio development, with fluent Finnish and English required; Swedish is an advantage. This internship offers hands-on experience in private equity within a Nordic firm.

Qualifications

• Second-year studies completed in business, economics, finance or engineering, with a strong academic record.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking, management consulting and/or private equity is preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; comfortable in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and screening: Market mapping, building and qualifying target lists, and outreach to founder-owned companies.
• Analysis: Financial and commercial analysis of targets, valuation work, and support on due diligence.
• Execution: Financial modelling, investment committee materials, and support across live transaction processes.
• Portfolio work: Add-on M&A and hands-on projects with portfolio company management teams.

At Roleho, you will join an emerging investment team and work directly with the partners across the investment cycle – from sourcing and analysing companies to transaction execution and portfoliodevelopment.

Roleho Partners is a Nordic small-cap to lower mid-market private equity firm investing primarily in Finland and Sweden. We partner with industrial and B2B services companies and build them into larger, more capable groups through buy-and-build. Roleho is located in Helsinki and Stockholm.

What you will do

You will work directly with the partners and the investment team across the full investment cycle. In a team of our size, interns carry real responsibility from the first weeks rather than observing from the side:
