Job summary

Combient Foundry is seeking Venture Client Interns for 2027, based on-site in Helsinki, Finland. You will design and execute market analyses of startups globally, assess deal flow, and act as the first point of contact for founders while synthesizing market signals for industry clients.

You’ll work closely with senior colleagues, gain mentorship, and drive your own workstreams, contributing to Combient Foundry’s venture client program and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with excellent academic performance.
• Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, business development, or the startup ecosystem is a strong advantage.
• Exceptionally proactive and entrepreneurial, with a strong sense of ownership and the drive to deliver results which benefit multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communicators, confident in engaging with executives, startup founders, and diverse stakeholders across cultures.
• Problem-solving thinkers, able to structure complex challenges, synthesize insights, and develop clear recommendations for clients.
• Curious and ambitious, eager to learn fast, take responsibility, and contribute to shaping the future of industry and the company.

We are now looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded students to join us as Venture Client Interns in 2027. Position is based in Helsinki, Finland and requires working on-site.

Recruitment process

1. Online application

1. Interviews — Two 30-minute interviews in English. The first focuses on your background, expectations, and aspirations. The second explores your views on open innovation and the venture client model and includes a short case discussion.
2. Case assignment — You will be asked to prepare a short case assignment and a pitch for the final meeting.
3. Final meeting — A 45-minute session where you present your case and pitch to another colleague.
