Job summary

Dora Health Ltd. is seeking an RF engineer to own the antenna and RFID subsections of a compact wearable platform. You will work on LF RFID/NFC systems, antenna design, and RF performance, from concept through prototyping and validation.

The role emphasizes ownership and impact on hardware integration within a Helsinki-based team. Experience with embedded systems or low-power electronics is a plus, and the work location is Helsinki with flexible full-time or part-time structuring depending on

Qualifications

• Experience with LF RFID, NFC, or other inductively coupled systems.
• Antenna and coil design expertise.
• Proficiency with resonant circuits and impedance matching.
• Experience with RFID reader front ends and RF or analogue electronics.
• Antenna simulation, prototyping, measurement, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own ownership of the RF/antenna area within the wearable device project.
• Oversee the full development cycle from concept evaluation to testing and optimization.
• Collaborate with hardware and product teams to validate RF performance in a compact wearable.

Job description

Dora Health develops a health-monitoring platform for pet owners and veterinarians, built around a compact wearable sensor. We are looking for an engineer with expertise in RFID, antenna design, and RF engineering to join our team and take ownership of a key area of the product’s technical development.

The role

You will work on RFID systems, antenna design, RF performance, and hardware integration within a compact wearable device. The role covers the full development cycle - from evaluating technical approaches and selecting components to prototyping, testing, validation, and design optimization.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with practical experience or strong technical expertise in areas such as:

• LF RFID, NFC, or other inductively coupled systems
• Antenna and coil design
• Resonant circuits and impedance matching
• RFID reader front ends and RF or analogue electronics
• Antenna simulation, prototyping, measurement, and testing

Experience with embedded systems, low-power electronics, wearable devices, compact hardware, or product development is considered an advantage.
