We are now looking for a Research Scientist to join our Photonics and RF Integration team in Oulu.
In this role, you will advance and apply integration and packaging technologies for photonics, quantum and microelectronic devices. Working closely with VTT colleagues, customers and research partners, you will contribute to research, prototyping and pilot manufacturing activities, communicate results, and help build new research and customer projects. Depending on your interests and experience, you may also manage smaller R&D projects.
Our Photonics and RF Integration team develops advanced components and modules by combining photonic and electronic devices with cutting-edge packaging and assembly technologies. We work across disciplines including photonics, high-frequency electronics, precision assembly and system integration to create innovative solutions for future applications. VTT is a research and manufacturing partner for communications, defence, space, medical and quantum technologies, and supports companies with advanced design and manufacturing infrastructure.
