Job summary

VTT is a leading Finnish applied research organization seeking a Research Scientist for CMOS integrated 2D sensors. You will contribute to the design and fabrication of graphene- and CNT-based components, collaborating with top experts to advance sensor technologies at the interface of academia and industry.

You will develop and characterize 2D-material-based devices, tackle nanofabrication challenges, and work with colleagues across VTT.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in physics, electronics, or closely related field.
• Experience in graphene and carbon nanotube components design/fabrication.
• Experience in semiconductor physics and electronics; cleanroom fabrication.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process development and characterization of graphene and/or carbon nanotube components.
• Solving complex nanofabrication challenges.
• Communicating and solving problems in collaboration with others at VTT.
