Job summary

Groupe VALOREM is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to join our Helsinki team. You will oversee the construction management of renewable energy projects, ensuring quality, safety, budgets, and schedules are met while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires a civil/electrical/mechanical engineering degree, at least five years’ experience in large-scale construction projects, strong project management skills (MS Project preferred), and the ability to lead

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in civil, electrical, mechanical or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' experience as Construction Project Engineer in energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of project management and MS Project.
• Technical business knowledge in electricity and renewable energies.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to define budgets and project objectives.
• Ensure safety rules are followed at all stages.
• Manage client relations and all project parties.
• Allocate resources and oversee selection, assignment, availability.
• Identify phases and studies required with internal/external resources.
• Prepare specifications and evaluate service providers/subcontractors.
• Structure and implement project management tools and dashboards.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance of studies, works, docs.
