Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Personal Injury Paralegal for a fully remote role supporting a U.S. law firm. The position requires strong experience in plaintiff-side personal injury matters, intake through settlement, and mastery of medical records, liens, and litigation documentation.

Qualifications

At least 5 years as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney.
At least 2 years as a personal injury paralegal for a US law firm.
Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake to settlement.
Ability to obtain and organize medical records, bills, and insurance documents.
Experience preparing settlement demands and supporting settlements.
Excellent client communications with professionals and clients.
Familiarity with bodily injury claims, liens, damages, and settlement procedures.
Litigation support including pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
Strong knowledge of statutes of limitations and deadlines.
Excellent legal writing, proofreading, and organization.
Experience with case management software and cloud tools.
Advanced MS Office 365 proficiency and English communication.
Stable employment history with 2+ years per role.
Experience using AI tools to support workflows.
Reliable internet and a quiet home office.
Availability during US business hours for long-term remote work.
Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in managing plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake to settlement or litigation.
Conduct client intake and collect information on accidents, injuries, insurance, and medical history.
Organize medical records, bills, police reports, insurance records, and evidence.
Maintain regular client communication on treatment, progress, and milestones.
Coordinate with medical providers, adjusters, opposing counsel, and experts.
Prepare settlement demand packages and related documents.
Track treatment, coverage, liens, damages, and settlement activity.
Assist with lien resolution and payoff statements.
Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, notices, subpoenas, and litigation docs.
Support deposition, mediation, and trial prep with exhibits and evidence.
Monitor deadlines, schedules, and filing requirements.
Submit court filings electronically and maintain digital case files.
Follow procedures and standards while handling multiple cases.
