The Finnish University Partnership for International Development (UniPID) seeks a part-time trainee to support its Coordination Unit housed within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies at the University of Eastern Finland on the Joensuu campus. The role emphasizes communications and event planning, with a strong remote component and a start in November 2026.

Salary is 750 EUR per month for 50% position, and the appointment runs through April 2027 with a trial period.

Qualifications

• Master’s level students from UniPID member universities are eligible to apply.
• Applicants should be eligible for their home university internship subsidy.
• Strong interest in science, development cooperation and global issues.

Responsabilités

• Assist UniPID’s Coordination Unit in communications and event management.
• Coordinate communications, manage social media, newsletters and materials for Finnish and international audiences.
• Help plan and organise DevDays2027, including conference registration and secretariat tasks.
