Job summary

Shook Digital is seeking a Freelance Creative Operations Manager to own the production machine for our DACH clients. You’ll develop concepts and scripts, then manage talent, deadlines, and technical constraints to turn ideas into high-performing assets.

This remote-first role requires German at native level, hands-on scriptwriting, and a proactive, autonomous mindset. You’ll collaborate asynchronously, but CET overlap is essential to coordinate with the team and creators.

Qualifications

• Language: Native or native-level German (C1/C2) for leading briefs, feedback, and creator relationships.
• Hands-on scriptwriting and concept-development experience are required.
• Operational ownership: you create systems to streamline messy workflows.
• Familiarity with TikTok DNA and platform-native editing tools.
• High agency: proactive problem-solving and backups when issues arise.
• Direct communication style with creators while maintaining relationships.
• Taste: ability to spot high-retention hooks early.
• Collaborative by nature and able to build real working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end production workflow, balancing creative taste with fast delivery.
• Develop the creative concept and script before filming.
• Work within an AI-assisted production platform and use tools like ElevenLabs.
• Source and manage creator network, ensuring briefs are followed.
• Provide direct, constructive feedback on raw footage to improve hooks.
• Refine modular ad structures for scalable testing and iteration.
