Job summary

ChainGPT is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to own end-to-end accounting and core finance operations for a multi-entity group across jurisdictions. The role is hands-on, audit-ready, and focused on crypto and fiat activity with leadership collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in accounting, strong IFRS/GAAP know-how, experience in web3 contexts, and a proven ability to manage intercompany and crypto reconciliations while maintaining rigorous controls and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in accounting/controllership/finance operations with end-to-end close ownership.
• Experience in web3/crypto companies or crypto-heavy operations.
• Strong technical accounting foundation (IFRS/GAAP).
• Experience with multi-entity accounting across jurisdictions.
• Crypto-native accounting: wallets, reconciliation, audit trails, controls.
• Excellent documentation discipline and audit-ready books.
• Ability to work in a lean, high-ownership environment.
• Strong written communication for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting and close across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and schedules; ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Manage intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, and balances with clear narratives.
• Lead crypto transaction accounting across wallets, exchanges, networks, and tokens.
• Maintain crypto balance support with strong audit trails and classification rules.
• Implement finance controls, governance, and compliance calendars with external advisors.
• Deliver management reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Provide treasury visibility and regular cash/runway reporting.
