Job summary

Linro, a cloud security company, is hiring one of its first engineers to build a stream-first policy engine that evaluates compliance in real time. You will own large parts of the platform end to end and work on core backend services in Go, with a focus on fast, correct operation and customer impact.

We are 100% remote across Europe, with async collaboration and quarterly in-person meetups. You will work with Go, SQL, and AI tooling, shaping a product in a startup environment that values

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering in a compiled language (Go, Rust, Java, C++, C#).
• SQL skills with relational and columnar data modeling.
• Product-minded with concern for user impact, not just tickets.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into simple, shippable solutions.
• End-to-end ownership from design through production and operation.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Pulumi).
• Comfort using AI coding tools and understanding their limitations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core backend services in Go that evaluate policy in real time.
• Own a core area of the platform end to end, from design to production.
• Build the simulation and enforcement path to block or auto-remediate non-compliant changes.
• Stay close to customers and feed learnings back into the product.
