Zusammenfassung

Nokia in Espoo seeks Senior Research/Standardization Specialists to strengthen 6G RAN activities. You will develop technical concepts and contribute to 3GPP RAN3 standardization across disaggregated RAN, RAN–Core interfaces, cloud-native protocols, AI-enabled RAN, QoS, network data collection and network slicing.

You will work across Nokia Research, Bell Labs, product teams and ecosystem partners to translate innovations into standards contributions and future product capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong expertise in 5G and 6G mobile systems and RAN network architecture.
• Experience with 3GPP-defined interfaces and protocols.
• Proven track record in research, patent creation, and technology development.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Aufgaben

• Lead and contribute to Nokia’s 6G standardization activities in 3GPP RAN3.
• Collaborate with Nokia Research, Bell Labs, product teams and ecosystem partners.
• Generate intellectual property and influence Nokia’s standards strategy.
• Translate innovations into standards contributions, IP and future products.
• Act as Nokia delegate or researcher in 3GPP RAN3 as needed.
