Job summary

The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to Q-GEN, a Business Finland-funded project developing quantum and quantum-inspired approaches for bioinformatics. With rapidly growing omics datasets challenging conventional computational methods, the project explores new solutions for high-dimensional optimization and structured learning.

The researcher will identify bioinformatics problems suitable for quantum and hybrid computing, develop algorithms with quantum physicists at Aalto University.
