Job summary

Sine Engineering is seeking an Embedded Engineer in Tampere to design and develop high-performance, real-time embedded software. You will work closely with hardware teams to deliver complete system solutions and optimize performance for reliability.

A strong background in C/C++ and bare‑metal development is essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics or Computer Science, 5+ years in a related role, and proficiency in SPI/I2C/UART.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as an Application or Software Engineer (or equivalent role)
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Hands-on experience developing software for bare-metal environments
• Solid understanding of modern microcontroller architectures and their peripherals
• Practical experience working with SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
• Basic knowledge of electronics and ability to read circuit schematics
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher

We are looking for an Embedded Engineer to join our engineering team in Tampere. In this role you will work alongside an exceptional team of engineers, developing innovative, high-performance solutions from the ground up.

What we require

To be successful in this role you should have:
