Job summary

ALTEN Finland seeks an experienced Project Lead to head the Electricity & Automation Delivery Unit in Helsinki or Tampere. The role blends strong technical credibility with commercial delivery leadership across industrial and project-based environments.

You will interface with customers, sales, and delivery, shaping complex electricity and automation projects and strengthening ALTEN’s market position in Finland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or Building Technology Engineering (electrical orientation).
• Experience leading complex electricity and automation projects in industrial settings.
• Strong technical credibility and ability to coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead demanding project deliveries across electricity and automation business, from bid to execution and improvement.
• Support sales and bid work by shaping technically sound solutions and linking commercial commitments with delivery capability.
• Act as a senior electrical engineering expert, guiding design decisions and tool usage for complex projects.
• Develop teams and ways of working to strengthen project execution, planning, quality and delivery performance.

Project Lead - Electricity & Automation Delivery Unit. ALTEN Helsinki

ALTEN Finland is looking for an experienced Project Lead to lead our Electricity & Automation Delivery Unit in Tampere or Helsinki. This is a senior role for a professional who combines strong technical credibility with commercial understanding and the ability to lead demanding customer deliveries in industrial and project-based environments.

You will work at the interface of customers, sales, and delivery, taking an active role in complex electricity and automation projects and helping strengthen ALTEN’s position in the Finnish market.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead demanding project deliveries across ALTEN Finland’s electricity and automation business, from early customer dialogue and bid preparation to execution, follow-up, and continuous improvement.
• Support sales and bid work by shaping technically sound and competitive solutions, contributing to customer discussions, and ensuring a strong link between commercial commitments and delivery capability.
• Act as a senior electrical engineering expert, supporting teams in design decisions, tool usage (e.g., ePLAN, NPLAN, E3, Comos, MagiCAD, CAD tools), and complex project execution in industrial, energy, and building services environments.
• Develop teams and ways of working by strengthening project execution capability, resource planning, quality, and delivery performance across the delivery unit.

Profile & Experience

You bring a strong background in Electrical Engineering together with solid project leadership experience and the ability to operate confidently in customer-facing project environments.

• BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Power Engineering with experience in design, installation supervision, and commissioning of electrical networks or systems for process plants, power plants, or substations.
• or BSc or MSc degree in Building Technology Engineering with an electrical engineering orientation, combined with experience in building services design or project work.
• Previous experience in similar design tasks and senior-level competence in building electrical design is considered important for success in this role.
