Job summary

Solita Oy is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build trusted knowledge platforms that connect company information to business context. You’ll work with domain experts to define valuable use cases and productionize them, using AI-assisted coding agents and semantic modelling to produce reliable, verifiable answers for employees and AI agents.

You will integrate data from SharePoint, Confluence, CRM, and ERP, design retrieval flows, and ensure sources stay in sync.

Qualifications

Experience delivering production software and maintaining it afterward.
Conceptual modelling: turning domain expert discussions into precise models.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational data models.
Ability to model business knowledge using ontologies or semantic modelling.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Github Copilot.
Experience building LLM applications or retrieval systems.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
Experience on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Fluent English; Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customer domain experts to identify use cases and define success metrics.
Translate business concepts into maintainable conceptual models and ontologies.
Integrate documents and enterprise systems like SharePoint, Confluence, CRM and ERP.
Design and implement retrieval and agent workflows with proper permissions.
Set up development workflows with automated testing and code reviews.
Deploy and operate the platform and monitor performance after go-live.
Investigate untrusted answers and fix root causes.
