Job summary

KÄÄPÄ Biotech, Europe's leading functional mushroom producer, seeks a Production Planner to drive production scheduling across Growing and Manufacturing. Hybrid work model with initial on-site presence.

You will translate demand, priorities, materials and capacity into executable plans, ensuring end-to-end visibility from sales to ship-ready status. The role requires experience in production planning, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain rolling monthly and weekly production plans.
• Create detailed schedules across Growing and Manufacturing.
• Balance production needs with materials, capacity and lead times.
• Coordinate dependencies between production stages, Shipping, Supply Chain and external production.
• Identify bottlenecks, overloads and scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare alternative production scenarios when circumstances change.
• Monitor execution against plan and coordinate schedule updates.
• Analyze plan-versus-actual performance and recurring delays.
• Maintain production orders and schedules in ERP.
• Improve production-planning routines, tools and reporting.
• Act as the main operational point of contact for Sales enquiries and provide weekly updates on open orders, production status and expected ready-to-ship timing.
• Track the full order cycle from sales order creation through production and quality to ready to ship.
• Assist in admin work like creating reports, support finance with operations related tasks, work together with quality in organic audits, traceability etc.

About the role

We are looking for a Production Planner to strengthen the planning capability behind our growing production operations.

In this role, you will turn demand, customer priorities, available materials and production capacity into realistic and executable production schedules across operations. You will also maintain end-to-end visibility from sales order creation through production and quality to ready-to-ship status, coordinate closely with Sales and Finance, and support inventory and month-end routines.
