Job summary

Easpring Finland is seeking Production Operators to join the Kotka manufacturing team. You will perform daily production tasks following established plans and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

We are looking for candidates with a vocational diploma and at least 2 years' experience in chemical process operations, who are fluent in Finnish and English and able to work in a safe, collaborative environment in Kotka, Finland.

Qualifications

• Good Finnish and English skills; English is company language.
• At least 2 years in a similar chemical process operations role.

About Easpring Finland

Easpring Finland is developing a battery materials plant in Kotka to meet the growing demand for battery materials in Europe. The plant will produce cathode active materials required for electric vehicle batteries.

Position Description

We are looking for Production Operators to join our manufacturing team in Kotka. In this role, you will perform daily production tasks following established plans and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and follow Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).


• Ensure product quality and complete production records accurately.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to the 6S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).


• Meet daily production targets and report any abnormalities promptly.


• Handle materials responsibly and support cost control initiatives.


• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

Qualifications

• Vocational school diploma or equivalent.


• Good Finnish and English skills are required, other language skills considered to be an asset. Our company language is English.


• At least 2 years of experience from a similar role within chemical process operations.


• Ability to follow instructions and quality procedures carefully.


• Responsible, safety-minded, and detail-oriented.


• Team player with good communication skills.

The job tasks in this position correspond to the TVL level of 1 and 2 under the Chemical industry’s collective agreement (Kemian perusteollisuuden työehtosopimus).
