Job summary

Finnair is seeking an IT Product Owner for Operations Control to lead digital applications supporting daily operations and decision making. You will collaborate with stakeholders, Digital teams, and vendors to translate needs into actionable development work and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

Strong emphasis on understanding airline operations, agile practices, and end-to-end delivery of features that improve efficiency and safety across Operations Control.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT product ownership, application development, business analysis, or similar roles.
• Experience in requirements management, prioritization, and coordinating deliveries.
• Strong interest in operations and how technology can improve them.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product backlog, priorities, and roadmap for Operations Control apps.
• Work with stakeholders to understand processes, identify improvements, and define needs.
• Translate needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize development based on business value, needs, dependencies, and resources.
• Coordinate development with internal teams, architects, and external vendors.
• Ensure solutions align with architecture and integration landscape.
• Coordinate testing, releases and implementation of new features.
• Gather user feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Support lifecycle management, upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
