Job summary

KONE is seeking a Product Owner for its Simulation Platform in Hyvinkää to lead vision, roadmap, and lifecycle across engineering, IT, and vendor teams. You will deliver reliable, scalable simulation capabilities and drive adoption through structured guidance and governance.

You will coordinate platform improvements, data governance, licenses, and releases while collaborating with global teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 4–6 years of product ownership, management, or lifecycle experience with simulation platforms or engineering apps.
• Experience with engineering simulation workflows and digital twins is a plus.
• Ability to define a vision, manage a backlog, and guide delivery from discovery through adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate the platform vision, roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle plan.
• Prioritize demand based on business value, user impact, cost, risk, dependencies, and feasibility.
• Translate needs into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release goals.
• Guide work from discovery through validation, release, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee platform performance, integrations, upgrades, and compliance with security standards.
• Manage simulation data, licenses, access rights, vendor services, and capacity.
