Job summary

KONE Technology and Innovation Unit (KTI) in Espoo, Finland, is hiring a Senior/Expert Full Stack Cloud SW Developer for Digital Services Experience Development. Join our hybrid team working on IoT Platform, Digital Services, Analytics Platform, and Technician Experience Platform.

You will design and build scalable web and backend services, focusing on secure, reliable, and efficient cloud-based solutions, collaborating with product, UX, and platform teams. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Full Stack Developer (web + backend).
• Frontend experience with React / Angular / Next.js.
• Strong skills in TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Backend development experience (Node.js, Kotlin or similar) and solid understanding of API design.
• Experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab or Github.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and production workloads.
• Understanding of secure coding and responsive design.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end digital services for the 24/7 Connected Services.
• Build scalable web applications using modern frontend frameworks and best practices.
• Develop and evolve backend services and APIs integrating with connected services and enterprise systems.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and service integrations with a production-grade mindset.
• Contribute to cloud architecture and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, efficient, and reliable.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and reliable releases.
• Collaborate across product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What you'll do
