Job summary

KONE is seeking a Production Testing (Senior) Lead Engineer, Machines & Drives in Hyvinkää, Finland, for a fixed-term parental leave replacement until end of 2027. The role is hybrid, requiring presence at the Hyvinkää office at least three days per week. Remote work may be limited.

You will join a cross-functional Production Testing team focusing on improving production quality and platforms across global sites, collaborating closely with stakeholders and test engineers.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in a relevant field is required.
• Experience with TestStand and LabView is required.
• Knowledge of electrical design and electrical systems is essential.
• 3–5 years in production testing of electrical modules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement applications for drives and machines testing.
• Support test engineering in factories.

We are now looking for a

Production Testing (Senior) Lead Engineer, Machines & Drives for a fixed-term parental leave replacement until the end of 2027.

to be a part of a Production Testing team in KONE. The Production Testing team is improving production quality and manufacturing processes related to elevator and escalator systems globally. The team is responsible of developing and supporting functional testing platforms across global production sites.

As part of our hybrid way of working, we are looking for a candidate who is permanently living in Finland and able to work from our Hyvinkää office at least three days per week. Certain responsibilities, such as laboratory work, may require additional onsite presence from time to time.

Main Responsibilities

• Application implementation for drives and machines testing
• Support test engineering in factories
• Participate to test platforms development
• Being as a contact point between testing stakeholders

We expect you to have

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field
• Experience in TestStand and LabView
• Knowledge of electrical design
• Knowledge of electrical systems and functions
• About 3-5 years of experience in production testing of electrical modules
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Active problem solving, collaboration and fluent communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel
