Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Simulation & Digital Twin Engineer to develop and deploy simulation environments across ports solutions. You will build reusable simulation components and workflows using NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim, enabling safe, efficient testing and validation throughout product development.

You will train colleagues, integrate control software and external systems into simulations, and contribute to virtual commissioning initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
Few years of experience with industrial systems, product development or simulation technologies.
Solid Python experience and familiarity with digital twin/HIL/SIL concepts.
Experience with simulation platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, ROS2 or MATLAB/Simulink is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain simulation models and environments.
Ensure access to high-quality, realistic simulation solutions for product teams.
Support integration of control software, PLCs and external systems into simulations for HIL/SIL validation.
Contribute to virtual commissioning activities and software training across teams.
Develop common simulation methods and processes across the organization.
